Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) is a national organization that represents the voice of the marketing profession in Canada. It provides a forum for members to participate in thought leadership events and conversations, to take professional development courses and seminars, and to develop standards for marketing practice that protect consumers and enable businesses to thrive.

The Brief

We want to test if there’s interest in a social listening seminar for our members…would you like to make a proposal for this?

My Role

Lead designer and facilitator of Social Insights, a 1-day professional development seminar delivered in-person in 2018.

Deliverables

  • Designed learning outcomes and content around the business benefit for investing in social listening, understanding the difference between social media monitoring vs. social listening, and demonstrating basic Boolean Search query writing
  • Collaborated with Brandwatch to integrate content and Brandwatch Analytics software demonstration into the seminar
  • Created bespoke lesson, takeaway guides, activities and discussion questions
